How to decide what finish to go for

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

A physical die is no longer required to finish our sticker jobs, instead we require a kiss cut layer to be added to your artwork, but don’t worry, we have created a step by step walkthrough for you here.

Die Cut to shape -  Available for sizes 75x75mm & above

The die cut to shape method is available for any shape or size (from 75x75mm), so get creative! By using the Zund Digital Cutter, which cuts through the vinyl & backing paper to create an individual sticker, we have eliminated the need for a physical die. This means pricing & turnaround has been reduced, it’s a win win! We now require a kiss cut layer to be added to your artwork, click here for our walkthrough.  

Kiss Cut to A4 Sheet - Available for sizes from 25x25mm to 300x300mm

The kiss cut to A4 sheet method is finished on the Zund digital cutter, for sizes ranging from 25x25mm to 300x300mm. We cut through the vinyl and not the backing paper, which allows you to peel your stickers off easily! To ensure the shape of your design is digitally cut, we now require a kiss cut layer to be added to your artwork, but don’t worry, we have created a step by step walkthrough for you here.   

Kiss cut to single - Available for sizes from 50x50mm to 300x300mm

The kiss cut to single method is available for sizes 50x50mm to 300x300mm. Finished on our Zund Digital Cutter, we cut the vinyl around your shape, then leave a border to create a square cut out which leaves you the perfect sticker hand out! To ensure the shape of your design is digitally cut, we now require a kiss cut layer to be added to your artwork, but don’t worry, we have created a step by step walkthrough for you here.  

Cut to size (straight edge only) Available for Sizes 75x75mm & above

This method is great as no extra kisscut layer is required in your artwork! Best of all, we’ve thrown this finish in free of charge! Sizes ranging from 75x75mm to 300x300mm are finished on our guillotine & anything above is finished on our  Zund digital cutter. 

Stock Information 

Print & Finishing

All jobs are printed on an Océ Colorado 1640 using UV Gel printing technology. This technology extends the longevity of the ink and provides a smoother & a higher quality print when compared to latex printing! Please note, the UV Gel Printing provides a gloss finish.  All jobs will be finished on our a Zund Digital Cutter, except Cut to Size jobs between 75x75mm to 300x300mm which are finished on our guillotines.

Monomeric Gloss

Why me? Our Monomeric Gloss is the most economical SAV stock! With up to a 3 year life span, it’s perfect for short term use, like bumper stickers, because we all know how often people change their preferences.

Polymeric Gloss or Matt

Why me? Our Polymeric Stock is our most popular stock and available in either Matt or Gloss.  With up to a 5 year lifespan this vinyl is perfect for your longer lasting messages.

Polymeric Industrial Grade/Hi Tac  

Why me? If you are after a long lasting vinyl, our White satin Hi Tac Industrial Grade Vinyl is the answer! With a 7 year life span and a low shrink adhesive, this vinyl is perfect for Wheelie bins  & Industrial Labels and is even suited to adhere to slightly textured substrates, such as tile, brick & and concrete. This vinyl is fire certified under ASTM E-84.
