Tell us about your role at IBS

I'm the Chief Marketing Officer here at IBS, I look after marketing strategy for the company and oversee our marketing team. This will be my 9th year with IBS and I love how diverse my role is! When I first started we only offered stationery but now we've expanded into signage, displays, promo, apparel and services, it's fair to say every single day in my office is different.

What is something about IBS that people might not know?

We say our motto is 'We believe helping others grow is the secret to success', but it's not just a throw away line we put in our marketing. Every single strategy meeting we ever have whether it's about a new product or service, customer support, finances, production or marketing, is always based around 'how will this help our customers grow?' ... every, single, time.

What's exciting you the most at work?

We do a lot of listening, and every day we hear the struggles of running a small business. There are quite simply not enough hours in the day to run an entire business by yourself. We're doing everything we possibly can to come up with affordable, practical solutions. We have been working for 'years' on services that we can provide to give you a little more time back into your day. (Because no one wants to be working 18hr days on minimum wage) And honestly? I've seen first hand how Virtual Assistants have transformed our business, it's now my job to prove to you just how valuable they can be for you too. Did you know that once a client has started using a VA, they have NEVER stopped using one because they weren't happy? They are IN.VALUABLE.

What's your favorite place in the world?

Positano on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. It's like heaven on earth.

3 things people wouldn't know about you?

- I'm a massive foodie, in fact all my holidays are planned around the food

- I accidentally gave birth to my son on my bedroom floor last year (he was in a hurry)

- I married my childhood sweetheart at 21.
